The FESPA Foundation announced Durst Group as its first official partner since FESPA Global Print Expo 2025, marking a significant step forward in the Foundation’s mission to support underserved schools through print. Durst is sponsoring Malekapane Primary School in Limpopo, South Africa, as part of the Foundation’s Adopt a School initiative, which goes beyond providing educational materials to include infrastructure upgrades and basic facilities.
Led by Steve Thobela, Africa Coordinator for the FESPA Foundation, the initiative connects the print industry with under-resourced schools to foster lasting educational improvements. Commenting on the partnership, FESPA CEO Neil Felton said, “Durst’s sponsorship marks the beginning of a powerful collaboration between the print community and the future of education.” Christoph Gamper, CEO and Co-Owner of Durst, added, “As we near our 90th anniversary, this is an opportunity to give back meaningfully and inspire long-term change.”
With expansion plans into Malawi, Kenya, and Tanzania, the FESPA Foundation also identified three additional schools in Limpopo as future beneficiaries. Durst’s involvement sets a precedent for the global print industry to follow, helping turn corporate values into tangible, community-driven outcomes.
