Durst Opens New Customer Experience Center in South Korea to Support Growth Across Asia-Pacific

Durst has announced the opening of its new Customer Experience Center in Asia, located in Gwangju City, South Korea, and hosted by long-time partner SEROM CO. The facility provides a dedicated space for label, packaging, and wide-format printers across Asia-Pacific to see Durst’s latest digital printing systems operating in real production environments.

The center features three of Durst’s flagship technologies. The TAU RSCi label press showcases the RSC platform's productivity, quality, and flexibility for short- to medium-run labels and specialty packaging. The hybrid Durst-Omet KJet, combining flexo and inkjet printing in a single production line, demonstrates the next level of versatility for label converters. First unveiled at drupa, the KJet represents the deep collaboration between Durst and OMET, delivering an integrated solution tailored to the evolving market needs.

Also installed is the P5 350 HS, Durst’s high-speed hybrid wide-format platform, which has gained substantial traction in Australia and New Zealand, with notable users including Cactus Imaging and Mediapoint. At the Gwangju center, visitors can explore its full capabilities for display, signage, and industrial applications.

With this new facility, Durst provides printers across Asia and Oceania a closer, more accessible location to evaluate equipment, run live tests, and develop applications without needing to travel to Europe. The regional hub aligns demonstrations with local market needs and offers a hands-on experience that supports both existing users and those exploring Durst technology for the first time.

Durst extended its gratitude to partner SEROM CO. for helping make the new center a reality. The opening marks a significant milestone in Durst’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Asia and deliver innovative digital printing solutions backed by regional support and expertise.
