ECO3 is advancing packaging workflow automation with the release of Amfortis v4, introducing new capabilities designed to meet the growing demands of shorter runs, tighter deadlines, and increased job complexity. At the center of the update is PackIQ, a new automation module that intelligently analyzes incoming files and automatically groups them into production-ready jobs based on metadata and job parameters. By removing manual intervention in file handling and setup, PackIQ reduces errors and significantly accelerates prepress operations—particularly valuable in high-mix, short-run environments.
Beyond automation, Amfortis v4 enhances production reliability with conditional marks, pharma clock marks, and customizable barcodes, while expanding integration with third-party systems through a more open architecture. This allows converters to seamlessly manage layouts, die-cutting data, and workflows across mixed environments. As Arnaud Becuwe, Global Head of Software at ECO3, explains: “As job volumes increase and deadlines become tighter, automation is key to keeping production efficient and reliable.” The solution will be showcased live at ExpoPrint & ConverFlexo 2026 in São Paulo.
