EFI and Currie Group have announced a new phase in their strategic partnership, confirming Currie Group as the exclusive distributor of EFI’s Sign & Display technologies in Australia and New Zealand. The agreement builds on five years of collaboration and consolidates distribution and support for EFI’s fleet of grand-format equipment under Currie Group, while EFI focuses on advancing its technology portfolio.
Paul Whitehead, Business Unit Manager for Sign & Display at Currie Group, said the arrangement creates a clear and unified channel for customers. “This evolution of the partnership capitalises on the strengths of both companies—EFI in delivering world-class technologies, and Currie Group in market reach and technical support. It ensures the market benefits from one clear strategy and one strong partnership focused on customer service.”
The announcement arrives alongside EFI’s latest generation of UV LED printers, including the VUTEk Q3h X and Q3h XP hybrid models, the FabriVU 340i+ soft signage solution, the new EFI Pro Series entry-level systems, and the brand-new M3h hybrid printer. Rob Pearson, EFI Sales Development Manager for ANZ, highlighted the alignment of the launch with the partnership, calling it “an exciting time” for the region. Currie Group CEO Rob Mesaros added, “EFI brings the technology, while we bring unrivalled distribution infrastructure and service. Together, we can help businesses across ANZ unlock growth and build success.” To mark the new partnership, Currie Group will host roadshows and demonstrations across the region in the coming weeks.
