Enfocus introduced the latest update to its PitStop software, version 26.03, bringing a series of usability and automation improvements to streamline PDF prepress workflows. The update reinforces PitStop’s position as a leading solution for PDF proofing and correction by focusing on user experience and efficiency.
A central feature of the release is the new “My PitStop” panel, which consolidates access to resources, documentation, and support tools within a single interface. The panel integrates Botus, the AI chatbot introduced in a previous release, providing users with immediate guidance and assistance. Additional improvements to the File Manager allow users to access more detailed information through customizable columns, making it easier to manage action lists and preflight profiles.
New automation capabilities further expand PitStop’s functionality, including tools such as “Distribute along Path” for placing elements on irregular shapes and “Scale to Fill” for ensuring full page coverage in applications like canvas printing. Alongside PitStop, updates to Enfocus Griffin and Phoenix introduce enhanced API functionality, improved layout controls, and early steps toward cloud-based integration. Together, these developments reflect Enfocus’s continued focus on reducing manual tasks and enabling more efficient, connected prepress workflows.
