Fujifilm Europe announced the availability of gold toner for its Revoria SC285S and Revoria EC2100S digital presses, expanding the creative potential of its 5UPER COLOUR technology. The mid-range devices, launched in January 2025, initially offered three speciality toners—pink, clear, and textured-stock toner. White and silver options followed in mid-2025, and the introduction of gold completes a six-colour speciality lineup aimed at making five-colour printing accessible to a broader market.

“We said in launching these 5UPER COLOUR devices that our vision was to make speciality toners, and five-colour printing, accessible to a larger market than ever before,” said Mark Lawn, Head of POD Solutions, Fujifilm EMEA. “The huge success of the devices in Europe in their first year shows that this vision is being realised, and through continual innovation, we’re excited to help customers keep expanding the possibilities of what they can do.”

Gold toner significantly expands design versatility, enabling Revoria users to create metallic embellishments and combine gold with CMYK to generate enhanced colour effects. The option supports high-impact applications such as premium packaging, retail displays, luxury business cards, and security-sensitive print, such as tickets.

“Metallic effects can really pack a punch,” Lawn added. “The use of metallic colours on product packaging, retail displays, and business cards can be a huge visibility boost. They can also be used to deter counterfeiting.”

Lawn emphasised that the new toner is part of Fujifilm’s ongoing commitment to democratise access to speciality colour printing. “We’re excited to be pioneering a new level of accessibility for speciality colour printing. The arrival of gold toner is just the latest step on that journey, and we’re proud of the constant innovation that helps us give customers the tools to keep improving and delivering even more.”

The new gold toner is available to order immediately, with first deliveries expected in mid-December 2025.
