GlobalVision launched Verify Inline, a cloud-native inline inspection system designed to shift print-quality monitoring away from hardware-bound environments and into the cloud. Positioned as a significant advancement for production workflows, the system enables operators and quality teams to remotely oversee print accuracy, reducing constant press-side supervision and enabling a shift toward higher-value production tasks. The company emphasized that the approach delivers greater flexibility, broader oversight, and improved efficiency across multi-press and multi-plant operations.
“With Verify Inline, we’re bringing the entire pressroom into the cloud, unlocking new levels of flexibility and control for our customers,” said Michael Malz, chief product officer at GlobalVision. “For the first time, production teams can monitor print quality wherever they are, ensuring quality is under control and the press is running fast. This means less time chained to the press-side, and greater control than ever before.” The system continuously compares printed labels with a client-approved PDF master, detecting errors during production through scanner-based imaging and AI-assisted analysis to maintain distortion-free accuracy.
Verify Inline includes a full suite of checks, such as registration, text, graphics, barcodes, QR codes, and color evaluation, in a single automated workflow. According to the company, the platform provides cloud-native oversight for distributed operations, supports press optimization with real-time feedback, reduces waste with early detection of defects, and enables fast deployment through bundled hardware and cloud software. The introduction aligns with a growing industry focus on connected quality control and cloud-managed pressroom environments.
