Graphic Packaging Appoints Robbert Rietbroek as President and CEO

Graphic Packaging Holding Company announced a major leadership transition, appointing Robbert Rietbroek as President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2026. Rietbroek will also join the company’s Board of Directors. He succeeds Michael P. Doss, who will step down as President, CEO, and director at the end of 2025 following a 35-year tenure with the company.

Rietbroek brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience across some of the world’s most recognized consumer goods companies. Most recently the inaugural CEO of Primo Brands Corporation, he led the merger of Primo Water and BlueTriton Brands and guided the new company through sustainability and growth initiatives. His career includes senior roles at PepsiCo, Kimberly-Clark, and Procter & Gamble across North America, Europe, South America, and Australia, where he drove strategic transformation, operational excellence, and product innovation.

“We are pleased to appoint Robbert as Graphic Packaging’s next CEO,” said Chairman Philip R. Martens. “His extensive CPG experience and proven track record of delivering value-creating results position him well to advance the Company’s progress toward our Vision 2030 goals.” Martens also acknowledged the deep impact of outgoing CEO Michael Doss. “Mike has helped transform Graphic Packaging into the industry leader it is today. His strategic thinking and dedication will leave a lasting legacy.”

Reflecting on his tenure, Doss said: “Leading the talented Graphic Packaging team over the past decade has been a privilege. Together, we expanded our capabilities, built what we believe is the world’s best sustainable consumer packaging innovation platform, and created durable competitive advantage. With the completion of our Vision 2025 transformation, we have everything we need to deliver on Vision 2030. This is the right time for the transition.”

Rietbroek expressed enthusiasm for the company’s mission and growth trajectory. “Graphic Packaging has the right assets, team and capabilities to execute on its Vision 2030 priorities. I am honored to join at such a pivotal moment and look forward to delivering innovative packaging solutions that improve environmental footprints and create long-term value for stakeholders.” Graphic Packaging also reaffirmed its full-year 2025 guidance and 2026 free cash flow targets as part of its broader operational and cost-optimization strategy.
