GSE Showcases Ink Workflow Automation and Software Innovation at Labelexpo Europe 2025

At Loupe 2025 (formerly Labelexpo Europe 2025), GSE drew significant attention with a suite of innovations designed to advance ink management for label and packaging converters. Under the theme “Where ink meets intelligence,” the company showcased new dispensing solutions and data-driven software, emphasizing how smarter workflows can cut waste, boost consistency, and accelerate digital integration across the production floor. Visitors showed strong demand for immediate installation of GSE’s dispensing systems, reflecting converters’ growing reliance on spot colour printing for quality and stability.

A highlight of the stand was the launch of the industrial Colorsat FCS (Formula Checkweigh System), a compact semi-automatic dispenser tailored for occasional spot-colour jobs. The system provides precision weighing, guided recipe scaling, and, when paired with GSE’s Ink manager (GIm) software, enables seamless integration with MIS and formulation systems. The Colorsat Switch and Colorsat Solo dispensers demonstrated clean, flexible solutions for process inks and coatings. All dispensers feature modular parts for easy adaptation, reinforcing GSE’s strategy of scalable, extendable ink management platforms.

Data-led decision-making was another focal point, with the GIm software suite showcased as a unique solution for tracking inks across complex routes of mixing, reuse, and press returns. Its new Advanced reporting module delivers automated insights into usage, stock, and scheduling, helping converters cut administration and improve supply chain visibility. To make adoption easier, GSE premiered an AR-powered Virtual Showroom app that allows converters to visualize equipment integration within their own plants. Marketing director Maarten Hummelen emphasized that while many printers currently utilize only a fraction of these tools’ potential, the modular architecture of GSE’s solutions enables step-by-step digital integration—making workflows simpler, smarter, and more sustainable.
