James Cropper, a global leader in advanced materials and paper products, released Coloursource, a curated range of 50 signature paper shades available in nine weights and 36 embossed patterns, suitable for applications from stationery to packaging and archival materials. Drawing on nearly 170 years of colour expertise, dating back to its development of the world’s first coloured paper, Coloursource unites decades of innovation into a single, unified portfolio. Each vibrant, numbered shade represents the company’s legacy as the origin point of colour in paper, while providing customers with an open invitation to collaborate at James Cropper’s historic Burneside Mill in the UK.
Managing Director Paul Barber described Coloursource as both a milestone and a creative gateway: “Coloursource is the latest step in a journey decades in the making… But what’s most important about Coloursource is that it’s not about us. It’s about opening the door to a new spectrum of creativity and opportunity, and letting our customers step through that door with us.” Customers are encouraged to explore the portfolio’s unmatched vibrancy, durability, and performance, or work with the company’s colour lab to create bespoke shades through its market-leading colour matching service.
Coloursource will make its trade show debut at Luxe Pack Monaco from 29 September to 1 October, where James Cropper will showcase the range’s versatility for luxury branding, packaging, and creative projects. Tours of the Burneside Mill—a UNESCO heritage site and the company’s home for nearly two centuries—are available for customers eager to see the colour development process first-hand.
