Effective January 1, 2026, Komori Europe and MBO Group will conclude their long-standing partnership with Heinrich Baumann GmbH, marking a strategic shift to strengthen their direct presence in Germany. As part of this move, the two companies will establish Komori Germany GmbH (KGG), a unified sales and service organization focused on delivering seamless support and innovative solutions across Komori’s printing systems and MBO’s folding and finishing technologies. “Together we have achieved significant success over many years and have positioned the Komori and MBO brand very strongly in Germany,” said Thomas Heininger, CEO of Komori Europe and MBO Group.
Komori Germany will combine both manufacturers’ technical expertise and product development under one roof, while maintaining regional MBO support through existing partner Steuber. The new entity is designed to provide a customer-centric platform, offering end-to-end solutions from sheetfed offset and digital presses to robotic and finishing systems. With streamlined communication and unified service, Komori Germany positions itself as a single, reliable point of contact, ready to enhance customer experience and accelerate growth in the German print market.
