Konica Minolta Expands with the AccurioLabel Prototype at Labelexpo Europe 2025

At Labelexpo Europe 2025, Konica Minolta revealed the first details of its new AccurioLabel Prototype, a digital label system designed to boost automation, productivity, and print quality. Building on the success of the AccurioLabel 230, the latest press targets mid-range production with features such as an optional Intelligent Quality Optimiser (IQ), extended print runs of up to 1,600 linear meters, and precise color registration even at a maximum speed of 23.4 meters per minute. With resolution raised to 1200 x 2400 dpi, the system promises sharper, more vibrant output, addressing key challenges faced by converters worldwide.

The AccurioLabel Prototype is being showcased alongside Konica Minolta’s established label and packaging solutions, including the AccurioLabel 230, AccurioLabel 400 with CMYK + White, MGI’s JETvarnish 3D Web 400 for embellishment, and GM’s DC350Mini Basic for finishing. Visitors to Hall 5 (E61/5G60) can also see live demonstrations of workflow software, including AccurioPro Flux, AccurioPro Dashboard, and the IC-320L Creo controller, complemented by MGI’s Connect and THE JETFORCE platforms.

This launch coincides with Konica Minolta’s 10th anniversary in the label market, where the company has installed more than 1,700 presses globally. Recognized as a Leader in IDC’s 2025 Vendor Assessment for high-speed digital label printers, Konica Minolta is positioned to capitalize on an expanding market expected to grow by nearly 60 percent to $20 billion by 2032. “Our mission is to enable better communication and society through the power of digital printing,” said Toshitaka Uemura, Executive Officer and Head of Industrial Print at Konica Minolta Europe. “The AccurioLabel Prototype is another milestone on that journey, equipping our customers with the speed, quality, and automation needed to thrive in a fast-changing market.”
