Kornit Digital announced the appointment of Simon Lewis as Vice President of Marketing and Segment Head. In this role, Lewis will lead marketing strategy and segment development, drawing on his background in capital equipment markets and analog-to-digital transformation to support customers building new digital businesses in textiles and garment printing. Kornit said Lewis’s appointment aligns with its mission to help the apparel and fabric industry move toward more agile, sustainable, and on-demand production models. His role will span market positioning, customer engagement, and strategic growth initiatives as Kornit continues expanding digital adoption across fashion, apparel, and textile applications.
Lewis brings a personal connection to the textile industry, noting that his grandfather established a wool mill in Yorkshire more than 75 years ago. He reflected on how dramatically the worlds of fabric and fashion have evolved since then, saying that Kornit’s solutions represent a decisive shift away from traditional manufacturing toward a 21st-century digital production ecosystem. According to Kornit, Lewis’s blend of industry perspective and transformation experience will help guide customers through this transition, enabling them to rethink legacy processes and unlock new value through digital printing. The company said the appointment supports its broader strategy of pairing technology innovation with strong market leadership as it shapes the future of textile and garment production.
