The labels and package printing community came together at TimeOut Market in Barcelona to honor excellence at the inaugural Labels & Labeling Global Awards, a key highlight of Festa Barcelona, marking the opening of Labelexpo Europe 2025. Organized by the industry’s leading publication, the awards spotlighted innovation, sustainability, and standout converters, judged by a respected panel including Andy Thomas-Emans, Philippe Voet, Mark Glendenning, and Chelsea McDougall.
Top honors went to LemuGroup for its UltraCompact end-of-line automation system (Innovation Award), Bio4life for a home-compostable PSA (Sustainability Award), and UK-based OPM Group as Converter of the Year. Notable mentions from the shortlist included Esko’s Print Clone AI and Masterpress’s magnetizable inks. “The winners represent the best of the best in their field,” said McDougall. “Their achievements should inspire others to push the boundaries of what’s possible.”
