Live Label Production Line to Debut at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona

Four leading names in label and package printing are coming together at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona to demonstrate a complete label production line running live on the show floor. ETI Converting, Martin Automatic, Lundberg Tech, and LemuGroup will collaborate to produce finished labels in real time, showcasing the benefits of seamless integration, automation, and performance. Following their successful joint debut at Labelexpo Americas, the group will now bring the same live manufacturing experience to Europe’s largest label event.

Visitors will see the entire process unfold, from raw material to finished roll, with ETI Converting’s Cohesio system fed by Martin Automatic’s dual MBS butt splicers. Lundberg Tech’s MatrixCompactor 200 will manage waste efficiently, while LemuGroup’s GTU turret rewinder and UltraCompact robotic system will complete the process with automated roll handling and palletizing. The live job, produced for European label converter Mirmar, emphasizes real-world operating conditions rather than a staged demonstration.

Industry leaders have hailed the collaboration as a milestone in showcasing the future of label manufacturing. “This collaboration is about giving converters the freedom to build the line they need with trusted technologies,” said Maxime Bayzelon, president of ETI Converting. LemuGroup CEO Iñaki Larrea emphasized automation and integration as keys to customer confidence, while Martin Automatic’s Gavin Rittmeyer highlighted the boldness of creating labelstock live at a European trade show. Lundberg Tech’s Karsten Kejlhof added that the partnership demonstrates practical solutions to improve operator efficiency and OEE. Labelexpo Global Series Group Director Andrew Galloway praised the initiative for bringing innovation and cost-saving benefits directly to the show floor. Labelexpo Europe 2025 runs from 16–19 September at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona.
