Mastering Compliance: Expert Tips to Navigate MOE and MOL Visits in the Printing Industry

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) and the Ministry of Labour (MOL) may visit your printing business, requiring you to address compliance issues like Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA). A Digital Imaging Association (DIA) meeting on January 15, 2025, will explore key questions about ECA requirements, implementation, and best practices to ensure long-term compliance while managing costs. Presenters include Frances Edmonds, HP Canada's Head of Sustainability, known for her expertise in driving sustainability initiatives, and Mike Millard, a seasoned printing industry professional with extensive experience in environmental compliance and health and safety.

Attendees can join the session online via Zoom or in person at HP’s Mississauga office, with registration details provided. The DIA, an international group dedicated to advancing the printing industry, organizes such events to help members stay informed and grow their businesses.

Membership benefits include free educational sessions, networking opportunities, and industry insights. For more information or to join, contact Association Manager Marg Macleod.
