Miraclon has introduced FLEXCEL NX Central 3.0, a significant upgrade to its centralized software platform for plate production, enhancing automation and precision for flexographic printers. Central to the release is the Automated Calibration Tool, which replaces time-consuming manual calibration with a smart, self-service system that dynamically validates and adjusts platemaking settings. “FLEXCEL NX Central 3.0 is another demonstration of Miraclon’s commitment to deliver precision, consistency and repeatability in the platemaking process,” said Deana Conyard, Director of Product Marketing & Portfolio Management at Miraclon.
Beyond calibration, the software integrates advanced features like triple-form surface patterning, PureFlexo™ Printing to minimize ink spread and press stops, and an Automated Plate Layout function that reduces layout time by 90% and increases plate utilization by up to 10%.
