OMG posted that while business mailers escaped a price hike in January, the USPS may try to make up for it in July. The rate cap for First-Class Mail is 8% and 11.6% for Marketing Mail — and they note that given the USPS. current financial state, it’s likely the USPS will raise rates on the higher end.
In addition to structural changes to products, they are proposing a new promotion for Catalog Mailers called Catalog Insights, and want to introduce SCF Pallet Discounts for First-Class Mail, and eliminate Flat Bundles in Tubs.
