Ondas Holdings Inc., a provider of autonomous defense and mission-critical systems, and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, a global leader in industrial manufacturing, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to pursue a strategic partnership in Europe. The MOU, formalized during a diplomatic event celebrating 60 years of German-Israeli relations, signals both companies’ intent to jointly develop European manufacturing and integration capabilities for Ondas’ autonomous systems portfolio. Focus areas include counter-drone (C-UAV) and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) solutions, aiming to rapidly meet the growing demand for localized, scalable, and resilient defense technologies across NATO and EU member states.
The collaboration aligns with Europe's ongoing defense modernization initiatives, which prioritize autonomous capabilities and local production. Ondas sees HEIDELBERG’s industrial strength—particularly in precision engineering and high-volume manufacturing—as key to enabling faster deployment and enhanced lifecycle support of its technologies in Europe. Both parties emphasized the mutual benefits: Europe gains rapid access to proven defense tech, while Ondas gains a trusted manufacturing partner and expanded market reach. The agreement represents a significant step in strengthening Europe’s domestic defense infrastructure through industrial cooperation and shared technological innovation.
