Postponement of drupa 2020 causes a big confusion

What's up? How many suppliers and print shops will survive the current crises?

Is bad news worth more than good news? — According to my current Unionmetrics Twitter Snapshot Report, the mediation about the cancellation / postponement of #drupa in June 2020 has attracted three times more attention than previously announcements for joining #drupa2020.

And for sure: Most of us may think it was a brave decision by Messe Düsseldorf and their organizing committee to do so. But there are some concerns like Morten B. Reitoft commented already last Friday via LinkedIn.

Key concern: ”With #drupa2020 postponed the real question is whether drupa will live up to their refund policies? Some exhibitors may want to exhibit at #drupa2021 but will they have the option to make that decision themselves?“

And I would like to add: How many suppliers and print shops will survive the current crises? Maybe we will lose 30 % of companies. Means: Less exhibitors, less trade show visitors.

Another point I was touching in my own POV via my Blog www.valuetrendradar.com. — Pls read & share: ”No #drupa2020! No business? — Time for a radical rethink!”

And please be so kind let me know what you think about it.
