Premier Paper Group Expands Sign and Display Reach with Strategic Acquisition of PPB

Premier Paper Group acquired PPB Ltd, a long-established sign and display materials merchant based in the UK, as part of its continued strategy to expand into complementary markets. Founded in 1979, PPB employs around 40 people and generates annual revenues of approximately £20 million, supplying plastics, paper, board, and aluminum composite materials to screen printers, large-format litho printers, digital display producers, and sign makers.

With offices in Leeds and Dartford and more than 85,000 square feet of warehouse capacity, PPB has built a strong reputation for service and product range in the display graphics sector. Premier Paper Group CEO Michael Beever said the acquisition brings a business with strong brand recognition and deep expertise in display materials that complements Premier’s existing operations and geographic coverage.

For PPB’s leadership, the move ensures the business can continue to grow with support from a larger organization. Managing Director Richard Proctor noted that the company’s long-term success has been built on loyal and experienced staff, and that access to Premier’s logistics infrastructure and resources will expand both product choice and service capabilities for customers. Premier Paper Group, which reported £285 million in turnover in 2024, is part of Japan Pulp & Paper’s global network operating across 22 countries.
