The Premio Oro della Stampa returned to the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese for its 34th edition, reaffirming its status as Italy’s most prestigious recognition of excellence in printing and converting. Organised by Stratego Group in collaboration with Unione GCT Milano, the event drew more than 400 guests, highlighting the sector’s continued contribution to national competitiveness. For 2025, the scope expanded to include the converting sector, a move that reflected increased participation from label and packaging producers and greater engagement from industry suppliers.
Award categories spanned innovation, sustainability, craftsmanship, and business leadership, with honourees selected by a jury of experts from media, academia, industry institutions, and print buyers. The jurors assessed companies of all sizes, weighing criteria such as investment in technology, ethical practices, internationalisation, visibility, and environmental, economic, and governance initiatives. Host Irene Elisei of Sky TG24 guided attendees through a programme celebrating creativity, technical progress, and entrepreneurial achievement.
Winners included Arti Grafiche Turati for Gold Innovation in Printing, IGB – Innovative Graphic Boxes as Gold Process Innovator, and Sacchettificio Nazionale G. Corazza, honoured with the Gold Cent’Anni di Stampa. Corapack earned the Special Sustainability Award for ESG Performance. Other award recipients represented the breadth of Italian print: Fag Artigrafiche as Gold Graphics Industry of the Year, Lucaprint in Cartotecnica, Ondulor for Corrugated Printing, Sacchital as Gold Converter, Tikedo in Label, Athena in Digital, Rubbettino Print in Publishing, and 4Graph as Gold Commercial Printer. Additional honours recognised achievements in ennobling, special substrates, and industrial and wide-format printing.
Industry leaders emphasised the awards’ role in promoting investment, skills development, and competitive advancement. “Participation grows year after year, showing how the awards are perceived as an opportunity to recognise commitment to quality, efficiency, people and new skills,” said Lara Botta, President of Unione Industriali Grafici Milano. Organisers noted that the Premio Oro della Stampa continues to elevate the vision and excellence that define Italy’s printing and converting industries.
