Komori America announced that Presstige Printing, a full-service commercial printer headquartered in Bonita Springs, Florida, has installed a Komori Lithrone GL840P+C advance LED-UV press to meet surging demand for high-quality, high-volume print work. Operating from two facilities in Bonita Springs and St. Petersburg with more than 60,000 square feet of combined space and a team of 80 employees, Presstige Printing serves clients across key verticals including political direct mail, hospitality, real estate, higher education, and healthcare.

Under the leadership of President Wes Weidenmiller, Presstige Printing has seen steady growth driven by clients’ increasing need for complex, fast-turn projects. “We were out of capacity,” said Weidenmiller. “Our current press is running two shifts a day, seven days a week, and it’s still not enough. Adding this GL840P+C advance is a big leap forward that helps us support current customers and also future growth.” The new 8-color, 40-inch perfecting press with inline coating and LED-UV curing technology enables the company to produce double-sided jobs at high speeds with minimal drying time and faster makereadies.

According to Weidenmiller, the new Komori press increases production capacity by as much as 2.5 to 3 times while easing strain on the company’s production teams. “It’s a great fit for the kind of high-volume, detail-oriented work we’re known for,” he noted. The company’s dual-location model allows for seamless coordination between print, bindery, and mailing operations, maximizing efficiency and flexibility. Komori’s automation, press intelligence, and proven reliability were decisive factors in Presstige’s choice. “We looked at the market and noticed that shops running modern Komori perfecting presses weren’t just happy with the technology, they were growing,” said Weidenmiller. “That was a strong sign.”
