Printware will spotlight significant advances in inkjet printing at PRINTING United Expo 2025, taking place October 22–24 in Orlando, Florida (Booth 5027). The company will showcase two new additions to its iJetColor inkjet product family and a powerful new software suite that boosts color fidelity and productivity across its systems. Live demonstrations will feature the new iJetColorQ high-speed envelope press, the iJetColorPXG packaging printer, and the enhanced iJetColorFlow 2.0 workflow platform, all designed to bring affordable, high-quality inkjet performance to printers transitioning from offset.
Making its U.S. debut, the iJetColorQ is powered by HP’s 108mm TIJ 4.0 printhead technology, delivering high-speed, high-resolution output with long-life printheads that support continuous, cost-effective production. Integrated with a precision feeding and alignment system, the press is designed for seamless transitions between envelope sizes commonly run on offset equipment. Priced under $200,000, the iJetColorQ provides offset-class productivity in an inkjet platform and is scheduled for commercial availability in early 2026. “Our largest customers have been waiting for this technology so they can continue to convert their offset operations to inkjet profitability,” said Tim Murphy, President of Printware. “We’re pleased that the wait is finally over.”
Also on display is the iJetColorPXG, an affordable packaging press engineered for short-run, small-format applications. The system incorporates Printware’s proprietary feeding technology to handle challenging substrates such as bags, boxes, and other rigid materials. Offered as a complete bundled solution under $30,000, the PXG delivers automated and flexible feeding for small-volume packaging jobs and is already commercially available.
Building on the success of the iJetColor 1175 Pro, 1175C, and 1175 models—all using HP’s FI-1000 print bar with water-safe, pigment-based inks, Printware’s expanded portfolio now addresses an even broader range of envelope and packaging needs. The company will also demonstrate iJetColorFlow 2.0, its latest software suite that enhances print quality and operational reliability. Developed on a Harlequin RIP base from Xitron and Global Graphics, iJetColorFlow 2.0 includes advanced tools such as PMS color matching, true CMYK direct print options, and enhanced color profiles for multiple substrate types. Its exclusive PQ Optimizer manages printhead output for consistent density, precision, and accuracy, available free to customers covered by Printware’s iJetAdvantage service plan.
Visitors to PRINTING United Expo can see all three technologies in action at the Printware Booth (#5027). The demonstrations will highlight how the iJetColor family continues to evolve as a cost-effective, high-performance inkjet solution for printers seeking flexibility, speed, and exceptional color fidelity.
