Sappi has confirmed its participation at Fachpack 2025, where it will present its latest developments in sustainable and functional paper packaging solutions under the theme “Future-Proof Paper Packaging.” From 23 to 25 September in Nuremberg, Germany, Sappi’s stand will showcase barrier papers, flexible packaging grades, and specialty board products designed to meet both environmental regulations and consumer demand for eco-conscious alternatives to plastic. Visitors to the Sappi booth can expect to see innovations that combine recyclability, product protection, and visual appeal for applications in food, cosmetics, and retail packaging.

Sappi’s focus at this year’s event will be on aligning its product portfolio with evolving EU regulations, including the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Key product lines on display will include Sappi Guard barrier papers, which offer protection against oxygen, grease, and moisture without compromising recyclability, and Sappi Algro Design boards, renowned for their premium printability and sustainability credentials. The company will also demonstrate new developments in functional paper solutions tailored for heat-sealable and mono-material packaging formats, which support circular economy goals.
