Techkon USA Releases ChromaQA 6.5 for Color Quality and Control

Techkon USA has launched ChromaQA 6.5, the latest upgrade to its award-winning* color quality control suite, delivering faster workflows, deeper integrations, and smarter automation for printers. The update enhances the AI-powered SmartINK ink toning engine with anilox compensation, allowing a single colorant set to be used across multiple anilox rolls—saving setup time, reducing measurement steps, and minimizing the risk of errors. New GMG OpenColor connectivity enables direct color imports from proofing projects, while TVI correction curves can now be exported in multiple industry formats (ISO, Esko, Kodak, Agfa, HP Indigo) directly from job measurements.

“These major new features, and several other smaller tweaks and fixes, amount to a noticeably smoother workflow and user experience, and help save time and money, so that color measurement and management becomes a seamless and frictionless process for printers and their customers everywhere,” said Stephen Rankin, Product Development Manager at Techkon USA. The release underscores Techkon’s commitment to making color control simpler, faster, and more connected for packaging and label converters worldwide.
