German labelstock manufacturer VPF unveiled a new line of high-quality textured wine papers designed specifically for water-based inkjet printing, marking a breakthrough in label customization for premium markets like wine, spirits, cosmetics, and gourmet foods. The launch includes four distinct paper types—each optimized for color brilliance and fast drying on both dye and pigment inkjet systems—offering enhanced tactile finishes and sustainability, with recycled content ranging from 40% to 100%.
The new program addresses a long-standing gap in the industry by making embossed, uncoated label papers compatible with water-based inkjet printing, without sacrificing visual or sensory quality. Among the new offerings is VPF 13825 Laid White, the first 100% recycled inkjet wine paper of its kind. All papers are available from 1,000 m² and can be paired with permanent adhesive 951 or wash-off adhesive 605, supporting applications from returnable bottles to environmentally conscious packaging. VPF also offers custom coatings and adhesive combinations on request, continuing its reputation for flexibility and technical innovation.
