Xaar Accelerates Inkjet Innovation with Streamlined Fluid Development Process

Xaar has introduced a powerful new fluid development and optimisation process aimed at helping manufacturers and OEMs fast-track inkjet system development, reduce costs, and accelerate time to market. Built on Xaar’s renowned expertise in inkjet printhead technology, the flexible, scalable process supports three streamlined pathways to bring disruptive applications to life—ranging from off-the-shelf fluids to fully bespoke waveform development.

With the ability to jet even the most challenging fluids, including high-viscosity and particle-rich formulations, Xaar’s new service offers customers early fluid verification, reduced capital investment, and tailored support. “Xaar’s support was outstanding,” said Mikael Boedler, Head of New Business Development at Inkatronic. “The pre-developed waveforms significantly reduced our testing time, saving us months of work.” Inkatronic leveraged Nazdar’s pre-approved high-viscosity fluids and Xaar’s in-house trials to validate a wood panel printing application in less than a month. As COO Graham Tweedale noted, “Our new fluid development and optimisation process is designed to give customers the flexibility and tools they need to innovate faster and reduce risk, whilst remaining in control.”
