Ayer por la tarde, alrededor de 60 de los aproximadamente 100 invitados llegaron a Radebeul. Ver la producción siempre es impresionante, pero esta vez, una parte se transformó en un lugar fantástico con comida, bebidas, música y, por supuesto, networking.

Ahora, el jueves por la mañana, alrededor de 100 asistentes han puesto rumbo a Radebeul para ver y aprender sobre la Rapida 76. A menudo, los grandes fabricantes de equipos originales (OEM) se centran en sus máquinas más grandes y rápidas, pero esta vez, Koenig & Bauer está mostrando la máquina de medio formato B2.

La Rapida 76 es una prensa B2 rápida con alta flexibilidad: 18,000 hojas por hora y múltiples configuraciones para producción comercial, de etiquetas y de embalaje. Para embalaje, la Rapida 76 puede imprimir en cartón de hasta 1 mm de grosor sin reducir la velocidad. La Rapida 76 presentada hoy es una de 7 colores con una solución logística.

Como siempre, las demostraciones son increíblemente precisas, bien planificadas y, por supuesto, muestran diversas aplicaciones en un entorno controlado.

Martes 18 de noviembre, publicaremos una película de Rutgers en los Países Bajos que utiliza la Rapida 76. Como tuve la oportunidad de hablar con él ayer, todavía estoy muy satisfecho con la inversión.

After the presentations of the Rapida 76, three customers, Matthias Hermann from Schmidt & Buchta GmbH, Kurt Schergen from Druckhaus Wittich, and finally Oscar Pebermans from the Dutch packaging printer, Rutger. Very pleased customers, not only with the technology, but also with the service, and the collaboration in general. Thomas Göcke from Koenig & Bauer was an excellent moderator, and learning, check, loads of fun - check as well :-)

Besides the customers, Koenig & Bauer also invited a few speakers - on the photo above is Dr. Wolfgang Jeschke. He spoke about the three major pain points in the printing industry: revenue, gross margins, and costs. Interesting perspectives, but personally I didn't agree with him on most - but that's, of course, the reason for the book I am writing - but great to have different views.

Thomas Grübner from Elbe Leasing also gave a presentation. Though I didn't hear it, I would be surprised if it wasn't about financing and why Elbe Leasing is a serious finance partner in the German market.

The Rapida 76 event ended around 15.00, and the guests from Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, and many more returned to the printing companies across Europe. Based on the numerous conversations and many questions, maybe soon another Rapida 76 will find a new home. Thanks for a great day!
