Ontem à noite, cerca de 60 dos aproximadamente 100 convidados chegaram em Radebeul. Ver a produção é sempre incrível, mas desta vez, parte dela foi transformada em um local fantástico com comida, bebidas, música e, claro, networking.

Agora, na manhã de quinta-feira, cerca de 100 participantes se dirigiram a Radebeul para ver e aprender sobre a Rapida 76. Muitas vezes, os grandes OEMs se concentram em suas máquinas maiores e mais rápidas, mas desta vez, a Koenig & Bauer está apresentando a máquina de meio-formato B2.

A Rapida 76 é uma impressora B2 rápida com alta flexibilidade: 18.000 folhas por hora e múltiplas configurações para produção comercial, de rótulos e embalagens. Para embalagens, a Rapida 76 pode imprimir em cartão de até 1 mm de espessura sem diminuir a velocidade. A Rapida 76 apresentada hoje é de 7 cores com uma solução logística.

Como sempre, as demonstrações são extremamente precisas, bem planejadas e, naturalmente, demonstram várias aplicações em um ambiente controlado.

Terça-feira, 18 de novembro, publicaremos um filme de Rutgers na Holanda que utiliza a Rapida 76. Como tive a chance de falar com ele ontem, ainda estou muito satisfeito com o investimento.

After the presentations of the Rapida 76, three customers, Matthias Hermann from Schmidt & Buchta GmbH, Kurt Schergen from Druckhaus Wittich, and finally Oscar Pebermans from the Dutch packaging printer, Rutger. Very pleased customers, not only with the technology, but also with the service, and the collaboration in general. Thomas Göcke from Koenig & Bauer was an excellent moderator, and learning, check, loads of fun - check as well :-)

Besides the customers, Koenig & Bauer also invited a few speakers - on the photo above is Dr. Wolfgang Jeschke. He spoke about the three major pain points in the printing industry: revenue, gross margins, and costs. Interesting perspectives, but personally I didn't agree with him on most - but that's, of course, the reason for the book I am writing - but great to have different views.

Thomas Grübner from Elbe Leasing also gave a presentation. Though I didn't hear it, I would be surprised if it wasn't about financing and why Elbe Leasing is a serious finance partner in the German market.

The Rapida 76 event ended around 15.00, and the guests from Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, and many more returned to the printing companies across Europe. Based on the numerous conversations and many questions, maybe soon another Rapida 76 will find a new home. Thanks for a great day!
