HP at PacPrint: Unveiling New Large Format for Australia

HP debuted its next-generation water-based Latex printers — the HP Latex 730 and 830 Series — at PacPrint 2025, marking their first showing in Australia. These new models follow closely on the heels of recent announcements at HP Amplify, including the HP Latex R530 and the PrintOS Production Hub, and signal HP’s continued push toward sustainable, high-performance large-format solutions.

The HP Latex 730 and 830 Series are engineered for small to mid-sized print providers looking to up their game in quality, efficiency, and environmental stewardship. Featuring HP’s Pixel Control colour pipeline and updated printhead architecture, they deliver precise colour output, rich detail, and solid fill areas at lower pass rates — saving both time and cost. New features include automated double-sided printing, faster media loading, and 3-litre ink cartridges on the 830W, designed for uninterrupted runs.

Integrated with the HP PrintOS Production Hub, PSPs can streamline workflows and manage jobs remotely in real time, reinforcing HP’s vision of an interconnected, efficient print environment. From décor to campaign graphics, these printers are built for versatility, with water-based, odourless HP Latex inks that meet key eco-certifications, including EPEAT Climate+ — a first in the signage space. In short: this is HP putting productivity and sustainability into practice, not just marketing.

At PacPrint, the message was clear — HP is positioning its Latex line not just as equipment, but as a growth platform for competitive PSPs navigating today’s high-mix, fast-turn landscape.
