METAMO and Mimaki Europe Conclude DIGITAL G-O-D Art Exhibition in Amsterdam

METAMO Industries has successfully concluded its Europe-first art exhibition, DIGITAL G-O-D, a bold exploration of the fusion between digital production and contemporary art. Held at Vrijpaleis in Amsterdam from June 20–29 and supported by Mimaki Europe, the immersive exhibition featured over 50 original 2D and 3D artworks created using advanced technologies such as UV printing, 3D printing, digital plotting, and photogrammetry. The event attracted nearly 500 visitors and showcased the work of 20 Dutch and international artists.

Mimaki Europe, a global leader in industrial inkjet and 3D printing technologies, provided the core tools for the exhibition’s visual innovation. The event highlighted how digital printing can open new creative frontiers, with pieces ranging from digitally plotted murals to intricate 3D-printed sculptures. “This exhibition was more than a showcase – it was a celebration of creative evolution,” said Taketo Kobayashi, post-digital artist and organiser. “With the advanced technologies we leveraged, we dissolved the boundaries between physical and digital, and audiences were inspired by the future possibilities.”

The diverse artist lineup included renowned names such as Brad Downey, The London Police, Zedz, Yoshinori Sakamaki a.k.a. Sense, and humanoise (Taketo Kobayashi). Presented by METAMO Industries in partnership with Chinny Bond, Mama Magnet, and Vrij Paleis, the exhibition stood as a compelling example of how technology and artistry can merge to shape new cultural narratives. The positive reception has sparked discussion of potential future editions in other European cities.
