Edale, now operating under the Canon umbrella, has announced a strategic renaming of its flexographic label and carton press platforms to Edale LabelLine and Edale CartonLine. The update aims to simplify product selection and align more closely with Canon’s global branding, providing clearer guidance for customers navigating press capabilities across different applications and performance levels.
“This is an important milestone for Edale… it’s about bringing greater clarity, confidence, and cohesion to how we present our technology globally,” said Lachlan Buirds, Managing Director at Edale. While the naming changes mark a shift in positioning, Edale assures that its hallmark engineering, automation—including AiiR registration—and high-definition print quality remain unchanged. The company will debut the refreshed CartonLine press at Labelexpo Europe 2025, co-exhibiting with Canon Europe.
